Transportation Pass

by : KW | 6 replies
We live in the GTA (Toronto, York, Peel, Durham, Halton)  each with their own transportation infastructure and services.  If these regions are all going to be amalgamated to be classified as the "GTA" shouldn't the various transportation systems as well?

Shouldn't there simply be one transportation pass (GTA Pass) that would be good for all transportation services (ie. TTC, Go Transit, Mississauga Transit, etc...) in all the cities currently a part of the GTA.  Does that not makes sense.

I think this would make a great deal more sense than simply having to buy numerous passes (Metro Pass, Go Transit Pass, etc...) plus it may serve to take more cars off the road if customers know they have more accessibility without the need for various passes at an increased cost.

Any thoughts?
